What is continuous authentication?
Instead of verifying identity only once at login, Continuous User Authentication keeps checking the user's identity throughout the session. It uses signals like how you type and move, your device, location and network to maintain confidence that the person using the account is still the legitimate user. If that confidence drops — say the behaviour suddenly changes — it can step up with an extra challenge or block the session. It's the practical expression of the Zero Trust principle "always verify".
