What's the difference between a DID number and voice termination?
An International DID Number (Direct Inward Dialing) is for inbound calls – a virtual local number in a foreign country that routes calls back to your India PBX, SIP trunk or mobile, so customers abroad reach you on a familiar local number. Voice termination is the outbound side — carrying your calls from India to phone networks anywhere in the world, billed per minute by destination. Most businesses serving global customers use both.
