What is the difference between a predictive dialler, a progressive dialler and a power dialler?

A predictive dialler calls multiple numbers simultaneously and uses AI to maximise agent talk time, typically reaching 85–90% utilisation, but it can generate dropped calls if it over-dials. A progressive dialler places one call only after an agent becomes available, reducing dropped calls and improving compliance. A power dialler works similarly but lets agents review customer details before the call connects. Predictive dialling suits high-volume sales and collections, while progressive and power dialling are preferred for BFSI and healthcare.
