Airtel launches 4G smartphone to give competition to Jio
After the introduction of JIO Phone by Reliance Jio, there is a stir in the cheap 4G handset market. When JIO challenged, Airtel and Vodafone accepted it hand-in-hand. After launching Carbon A40 Indian, Airtel has launched new devices in partnership with Carbon under its 'My First Smartphone' program'. These new handsets are: Karbon A1 Indian and Karbon A41 Power. Remember Vodafone introduced the India-2 Ultra in partnership with Micromax. In this race, the government company BSNL is not far behind. The company introduced the Micromax India-1 phone.
Price of Karbonn A1 Indian and A41 Power
Airtel has informed that the effective price of Karbon A1 Indian and Karbon A41 Power will be Rs 1,799 and 1,849 respectively. Karbon says that MRP of Karbon A1 Indian and Karbon A41 Power are Rs 4,390 and Rs 4,290 respectively.
Interested customers will have to pay 3,299 rupees to buy Carbon A1 Indian. At the same time, karbon A41 power will be available in Rs 3349. Airtel further said that in order to get cashback on these handsets, customers will have to recharge from 369 packs of up to 169 rupees. After this, the entire amount of Rs 1,500 will be available as a cashback. After the first 18 months cashback of Rs 500 will be given and 36 months of completion, the remaining 1,000 will be reimbursed as cashback.
Such Airtel has given the facility to the customers that if they wish, they cannot choose a plan of Rs 169 along with Karbon A1 Indian and A41 Power. The company says that customers can recharge from any pack of their choice. However, in order to get cashback, at least 3,000 rupees will be recharged in the first 18 months. After this, cashback of Rs 500 will be available. After this, the next 18 months will be recharged to 3,000 rupees only; the cashback of the remaining 1,000 rupees will be given.
To get cashback on behalf of Airtel, these handsets of Karbon like Zero will not have to be returned.
It has been informed that the new Karbon 4G phones will be available on Amazon India from next week. The company has also stated that Karbonn A40 Indian has been made available on Amazon India.
Specifications of Karbonn A1 Indian and A41 Power
The specifications of these two karbon smartphones are nearly identical. You will find a 4-inch WVGA display, Android 7.0 Nuga, 1GB RAM, 8 GB inbuilt storage and 4G VoLTE support. Talking about the difference, Carbon A1 Indian has a 1.1GHz quad-core processor and its battery is 1500 mAh. At the same time, 2300 MAH battery have been given with 1.3 GHz quad-core processor in karbon A41 Power. karbon A1 Indian has a 3.2 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. karbon A41 Power has a 2 megapixel rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera.
