Reliance Jio Data Breach News..Is it true?
The news about Reliance Jio's customer data leaked on a website named www.magicalpk.com spread like wildfire and created panic among Jio subscribers. Moreover alphabets pk made situation more tense as it seems something related to Pakistan but Jio representatives were really quick to respond and the company released a press note stating that ' The news about Data breach of customer sensitive information is not authentic and our customers and subscribers need not worry. The data such as Name, address, date of SIM activation and other sensitive.customer information is accessible only to concerned authorities of Company and that too as per proper procedure.'
According to latest news, the website magicapk.com that hacked into the Jio's customer database of nearly 120million subscribers.has been pulled down and suspended after Jio's authorities sought legal help After all this was really serious issue and reputation of Telecom's leading company at stake.
Accessing the website is showing account suspended notification however it is not clear if the account was terminated by the created of website or it was suspended as legal action.Moreover the owner of the magicalpk could not be traced. The website is supposed to be hosted on go daddy.com.

However quick.Jio was to respond to it's customers regarding the data breach, once the trust of customer's is shaken, it becomes difficult to regain confidence amongst public. Moreover, the hacking of critical information such as Adhar card no is a serious matter as important bank information is also linked with Adhar Card. Well, it would be interesting to see how other companies deal with this issue after Jio data breach news which is being termed as country's biggest data breach till date involving around 120 million customers
